A Life Consecrated to the Prophetic
Apostle Mitchell Calvin Brown was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He spent 10 years in Virginia, migrated back to New Jersey, and then went into Boston where he studied martial arts and received his broadcasting license from Northeast Broadcasting School — alongside his deep study of Scripture. His calling to the prophetic office and ministry was confirmed in 1989. His spiritual father and mentor was Apostle Bishop Charles E. Blake of the Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, California.
From 1991 to 1995, Apostle Brown trained under Bishop T.D. Jakes at West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, CA. He served as Director and Leader of the Evangelism Ministry, worked faithfully in the 6 AM Prayer ministry, and was the founder of the Resurrection Walk. In 1995, he moved to Arlington, Texas and the Lord called the Browns as a Prophetic Team into a non-denominational prophetic ministry.
In 1995, he was ordained by Bishop Charles E. Blake and Dr. Myles Munroe. In 1998, he was released as Elder and Prophet in Arlington, TX — witnessed by Rocket Ishmael of the Dallas Cowboys. For 17 years, Apostle Brown trained under Arch Bishop E. Bernard Jordan — a member of the International School of the Prophets and POME.
Married 30 years to Prophetess Debra Brown, Co-Pastor. Together they lead Dawn Of A New Day Prophetic Ministry — J4HIM — as a prophetic team, releasing the anointing and impartation with manifestation that unlocks breakthroughs. He helps leaders embrace the government and order of the prophetic anointing through the School of the Prophets.
