Apostle Mitchell

Apostle Mitchell Calvin Brown was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. From an early age, the hand of God was evident upon his life as he was drawn into deep prayer, worship, and the study of Scripture. His calling to the prophetic office was confirmed by multiple spiritual fathers and mentors throughout his formative years in ministry.

From 1991 to 1995, Apostle Brown sat under the powerful ministry of Bishop T.D. Jakes at The Potter's House in Dallas, Texas — receiving foundational training in apostolic and prophetic ministry that would shape his entire calling. This season was instrumental in developing his understanding of the fivefold ministry and the prophetic office.

In 1998, he was released as a prophet in Arlington, TX, and ordained by Bishop Charles E. Blake of the Church of God in Christ. He was also ordained by Dr. Myles Munroe of the International Third World Leaders Association — one of the most respected apostolic voices of the 20th century.

For 17 years, Apostle Brown trained under Arch Bishop E. Bernard Jordan — one of the foremost prophetic voices in America — receiving deep impartation in the prophetic gift, prophetic protocol, and apostolic government. This extended mentorship shaped the prophetic culture that defines Dawn Of A New Day Prophetic Ministry to this day.

Together with his wife, Prophetess Debra Brown, Apostle Mitchell founded Dawn Of A New Day Prophetic Ministry — J4HIM — headquartered in Mansfield, Texas Global Ministry. The ministry is non-denominational, multicultural, multiracial, and multidimensional, operating under an apostolic and prophetic mantle to reach the nations.

His global mandate has taken him to Kenya, Africa, and nations around the world — planting churches, releasing prophetic anointing, and training the next generation of prophets through the School of the Prophets. J4HIM TV extends this ministry digitally, reaching thousands worldwide with prophetic teaching, personal prophecy, and apostolic instruction.
